Held in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa, this masterclass, conducted in English, will immerse you in the world of cutting-edge investigative journalism techniques. Over three intensive days, from Friday, November 17 to Sunday, November 19, 2023, you’ll explore digital forensics, verification and OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tools and skills.

Fellowship Opportunities
We believe in the power of journalism and aim to make this experience accessible to dedicated journalists from across Africa. That’s why we’re offering fellowships to journalists from African countries with at least three years of investigative reporting experience, to cover:

- Accommodation in single rooms
- Transport to and from the masterclass and conference
- Meals
- Conference fees
Please note that fellowships do not cover home-country transport, travel insurance, visa costs, personal in-country transport, or hotel incidentals. Additionally, successful applicants must have a passport valid for at least six months after the conference and be available to travel from Thursday, November 16 to either Wednesday, November 22, or Thursday, November 23 (depending on flight availability).
