The African Investigative Journalism Conference (AIJC) returns in 2025 and, like every year, we want to ensure we present the most interesting work and journalists on the continent.
We invite you to suggest speakers, panels, themes or training. Do you have something that needs to be shared with your colleagues? Do you have a topic, or some particular training that you think would enhance the conference? Do you have an idea for a discussion that belongs on the programme?

AIJC is the continent’s leading gathering of working journalists and showcase of Africa’s best investigative reporting. For 20 years, it has presented an opportunity to share inspiring stories, network with the best investigative reporters, hear about interesting work being done and catch up with cutting-edge tools and developments.
The 21st conference will take place at Wits University in Johannesburg from Wednesday 5 November to Friday 7 November 2025.

L’AIJC est le principal rassemblement de journalistes en activité sur le continent et une vitrine du meilleur journalisme d’investigation du continent africain. Depuis 20 ans, elle offre l’occasion de partager des histoires inspirantes, de réseauter avec les meilleurs journalistes d’investigation, de découvrir des travaux intéressants et de se tenir au courant des outils et des avancées les plus récents.
La 21e conférence aura lieu à l’Université Wits de Johannesburg du mercredi 5 novembre au vendredi 7 novembre 2025.
